Samsung phone with Android rival Tizen

                      " Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of Samsung's mobile business, said during an interview in Seoul. "The device will be the best product equipped with the best specifications."
                                Samsung Electronics, the biggest seller of devices using the Android operating system, plans to release a smartphone powered by the open-source platform Tizen as soon as August and this will be in the high-end category
                                Samsung is among 12 companies, including Intel and Sprint Nextel, developing Tizen as an alternative to Google Inc's Android, which runs two of every three smartphones worldwide.

*The tablet features HP ElitePad Smart Jackets, which add connectivity options and an additional ultra-slim battery for longer runtime, along with specific add-ons that customise the tablet for specialized uses.

* The camera also includes CyberLink YouCam software.

* The HP ElitePad tablet has a 1080p front-facing video camera and an 8 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash.

*The tablet is aimed at enterprise users, but it is expected to entice consumers also.


* Hewlett Packard launched this business tablet - HP ElitePad 900 - in India at a price of Rs 43,500. The tablet runs Microsoft's latest Windows 8 operating system.
